Face Painting Near The EyesIn this article I’m going to talk about how to deal with painting near or around the eyes when it comes to face painting. This can often be a difficult area to paint, especially with young children who can’t keep still. But it’s also true that many great designs require you to paint near or around the eyes… so what should you do? Well here’s our advice: If you’re painting the face of a young child, you may want to avoid the eye area altogether. You definitely want to avoid using a brush around the eyes, but you could use a sponge if the child is okay with it. If you want to have fun with more advanced designs, it’s usually better to do this with older children. With younger children, it’s much more important to make sure the child enjoys having their face painted. If you do something they aren’t comfortable with (such as painting near or around the eyes) the child is less likely to enjoy the experience… and not want to return next time.
