How To Apply GlitterThere are some great face painting designs that require the use of glitter, but many face painters have the problem of the glitter not staying on the face for very long! The reason the glitter isn’t staying on for very long is usually because the paint on the face has started to dry before you’ve applied the glitter. As you become quicker at your designs, you’ll be able to buy yourself so more time to apply the glitter. This is especially important if you’re planning on using a lot a glitter all over the face. But if you just want to use your glitter for smaller, more specific areas of the face… here’s a good way of doing it: Use a damp brush (only slightly damp) to apply the glitter. By doing it in this way, you have a little moisture to work with, that will help the glitter to stick. Also, this should disrupt the paint underneath. It may take a little practice to learn the right amount of moisture you need. |
